Observing
In addition to just regular observing since I started this
hobby, I've participated in a couple of special events so far and hope to
participate in many more. Reports of these events will be posted periodically on
my website (and maybe even some regular observing reports as well some day 
) and can be
found linked on this page.

That's right, I'm
having my very own observatory built! 
Once things get started on the construction, I'll
add a page to chronicle the steps. It will be an 11'6" x 11'6" roll-off
roof type rather than a dome, as I like the looks of those better (not quite
so obvious, and I have the room for it). My thanks in advance to Scott and Diane Horstman
at Backyard
Observatories for their help in making Serenity Observatory a
reality!
Then in May, I'll
be attending the 2007 Texas Star Party, and in June I plan to attend the
Buck-Eye on the Sky Star Party in Ohio (a bit smaller group than TSP 
but a great chance to see many of my good friends
from my online astronomy club, Cloudy Nights).
2007 is shaping up to be a great astronomy year...now I just hope the weather cooperates!
